Benchmark data shows that three of the biggest energy draws for convenience stores are refrigeration, lighting and HVAC. Even beverage dispensers can be a drain on your bottom line if they're not energy efficient. With the right upgrades, you can lower the amount of energy consumed without any change to your daily operations.
The ComEd Energy Efficiency Program offers incentives you can invest into upgrades and improvements that make good economic sense and save energy dollars too.
Call 1-855-433-2700 and request a Facility Assessment. A ComEd energy engineer will assess your facility and equipment for potential electrical savings during a two-hour site walkthrough.
Within a month, you will receive a high-level summary recommending energy-saving changes and upgrades that can improve the energy efficiency of your business.
After you have decided which energy-saving improvements you want to make, consult the ComEd Energy Efficiency Service Provider Directory to find a contractor who can provide the products and services you need and help you apply for ComEd Energy Efficiency Program incentives.

Funds are limited and will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Prior to any incentive or rebate payout, the ComEd Energy Efficiency Program is responsible for verifying that an Energy Efficiency Service Provider or installing contractor is certified, and recertified by the ICC by June 1st each year, for the installation of applicable measures. This does not apply to customers who choose to self-install the applicable measure(s). Information concerning ICC certification and recertification requirements, instructions and rules can be found at: ICC EE Installer Certification. The ComEd Energy Efficiency Program is funded in compliance with state law. Offers are subject to change.
